Organization
HTA has associates throughout the United States in five office locations to support local Honda operations, including some associates who work on-site in Honda facilities to meet customer needs.
Our departments provide services for Honda and its suppliers though several different divisions including a raw materials group, which manages and coordinates Honda's Raw Material Supply System, working with approximately 80 Honda parts suppliers in the United States. Additionally, our parts and machinery group manages and coordinates the import of parts and machinery for Honda and Honda supplier operations in the United States, and our catalytic materials & systems group works to ensure the supply of high quality precious metals and other materials for our customers.
All of our operations are supported by our corporate services division, including accounting, information systems, trade compliance and administration, as well as the development of new products and services through our general merchandise group.
Honda Trading America is jointly owned by Honda Trading Corporation, located in Japan, which owns 85 percent of our operations and American Honda Motor Company, which owns 15 percent of our operations.
