Strengthening of Business Structure to Work Towards the Realization of a Decarbonized and Recycling-based Society

On April 1, 2026, Honda Trading Corporation established a new “Green Transformation Development Division” and also reorganized its business in the resource circulation area into the “Resource Circulation Division.”

Honda Trading Corporation has already conducted various business reform to help realize the sustainable future set forth in the 2040 Global Vision and to realize a decarbonized and recycling-based society based on the “Triple Action to ZERO” concept of the Honda Group, which aims to realize a society that has zero environmental impact.

Through this latest organization reinforcement, we will reorganize and consolidate the environment-related business that has previously been promoted across multiple divisions, and will further strengthen the creation of business that realizes both environmental value and economic value.

New Establishment of Green Transformation Development Division

We have established a new Green Transformation Development Division to be responsible for business development in the GX (green transformation) area, which includes biomass power generation and other renewable energy business, and the construction of carbon credit business.
This Division will promote business in the GX area in an integrated manner, from new technology research and development to market development, partner cooperation and commercialization, to strengthen our provision of environmental solutions to meet customer needs, and to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society.

Strengthening of Resource Circulation Business Functions

In order to further develop the initiatives in the RC (resource circulation) area we have previously been promoting in our Resource Circulation Planning Division, we have strengthened this organizational function as the Resource Circulation Division. This Division will be the organization responsible for everything from waste material management and resource recovery to the planning and sales of recycled materials.
The Division will provide a wider response to the needs that customers have for the effective use of resources and the utilization of recycled materials. It will also contribute to the realization of a recycling-based society by building a highly effective circular value chain.

Under this new organizational structure, Honda Trading Corporation will continue working as a united company taking on the challenge of new value creation.
